A LIMERICK energy savings company is set to expand, offering 17 new jobs in the process.

Averian Energy Solutions, based in the Hartnett Enterprise Acceleration Centre at LIT, provides software products and solutions focused on the renewable sector.

Now, thanks to a new energy tracker product bosses at the company have developed, the firm has announced it will create 17 jobs, mainly in sales, software development and business analysis.

The company has developed the 'Averian Renewable Portfolio Management (RPM) application which will track, rank and value any renewable energy project in any jurisdiction.
